Rebecca Grey, a fourth generation San Franciscan, has been with Pillsbury & Levinson, LLP, since 1999, and has been a partner of the firm since 2005. Ms. Grey specializes in the representation of individual insurance policyholders in complex insurance bad faith, insurance coverage and ERISA matters. Her practice includes negotiation and litigation on behalf of insureds in disputes arising out of employer-provided and private health, life and disability benefits, long term care insurance, and property casualty insurance. She assists clients in pre-litigation administrative appeals in ERISA matters as well as litigation, through trial and appeal. She has participated in and resolved numerous cases with seven-figure verdicts and settlements.

Ms. Grey is a member of the Board of the San Francisco Trial Lawyer's Association, as well as being a member of the State Bar of California, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Bar Association of San Francisco. Ms. Grey is a graduate of Stanford Law School and the University of California at Santa Cruz.

She is a regular speaker in continuing legal education courses, particularly regarding insurance coverage, and bad faith litigation matters.

Prior to joining Pillsbury & Levinson, Ms. Grey represented plaintiffs in employment discrimination and civil rights matters and acted as a Legal Research Attorney for the San Francisco Superior Court.
